A Quick Reflection of the First Three Months
The first three months of the second decade of this new millennium has come and gone. To think we made it this far! There are so many current events that have happened in our lives that it's difficult to begin to imagine them all. But a good way to start is to take moments like these and give a look back. Therefore, this page will be a sort of reflection of just how far this blog has gone in terms of things spoken. Hopefully, dear Reader, you can take something out of that.

Each milestone reached reminds us of where we are, and where we must go! |
January 2020, The Start of it All
What new year, or decade for that matter, can be complete without a resolution. And what better way to fulfill resolutions than to write down goals in a list. From this, you harness your thoughts and energies. As such, you want to create a strategy that helps fine-tune your goals and the length and scope it takes to achieve them. The first three posts of the year/decade are some ideas that came to mind at the time:
Another important thing to do is also focusing our time in the morning to make the start of our days worthwhile. Such a practice of morning devotion is paramount to one's own success. That was the inspiration behind this post:
This makes the first month of 2020 complete; a good start so far. But as time marches on, we must keep going to the next month of February.
February 2020, Getting Our Stride in
Now we're getting into the year strong after a good month in with the month of February. Here we focus on preparation into various things in life, starting with taxes. Yes, it's early to do that now, but having it done early also means you don't have to worry about it later nor rush into getting it done later. With that said:
After this, take the time to prepare with meeting your neighbors where you live. This is not to suggest you just barge into their homes, but to simply let people know that you live there with them. That is why it's important to:
Still keeping preparation in mind, why not prepare a weekend out? Do you have something you want to do? Got errands to run on the weekend? Want to see friends and family? It all comes down to planning so:
We put a wrap in February with this simple act of writing down thoughts. Similar to January in making a list, writing down help keeps things in perspective as well as help creates action from following a thought. What you do after that action is up to you, but you definitely want to:
Two months passed! That's quite an accomplishment and we're just getting started, dear Reader. Now we proceed to the third month of this new year, and this new decade. . .
March 2020, Like a Lion!
March has always symbolized the change of pace for the Seasons! Just coming out of Winter and into Spring, we come out of preparation and into some changing ideas. Shake the tree up a little and see what stirs...just be careful to not shake too hard. We first start with moderation in meals:
This is important to keep in mind as we change our pace in life; but with all things, there is balance. While we may eat out less, let's spend more time enjoying the outdoors more. It doesn't always have to be involving a meal; not that you shouldn't partake the opportunity, yet even so:
While you are outdoors or indoors, use this as a time to have a night with friends. Whether or not you are with them, you can still play together, so why not plan this out:
While we recognize that this is a month marking a change of pace, we sometimes must take a moment during that change to give ourselves a much-needed break, in other words:
Finally, we wrap up this month of change by sparing some change ourselves! That's right, setting some funds aside can help out when you least expect it; both in good times and not so good. That's why it's always important to:

The First Quarter Finished
Well, this wraps up the first three months of the year. There has been a lot accomplished, but we still have much ahead of us; nine more months after all. With the change of pace set in motion, who's to say what the Second Quarter has in store, but one thing is for certain dear Reader, I look forward to hearing what you have in mind. Feel free to leave a comment and see which post helps inspire you! Let's start this next quarter just as strong as the last!
